Hello my lovelies!! I am doing something a little different today. I am sharing some of the things that I am currently excited about and looking forward to in the future. Granted some of these things may change, but I am not letting that stop me from being excited about them! Let's dive right in shall we!
Spending more time reading. This comes as no surprise to anyone that knows me or has been following my blog. This year, I am currently following two reading challenges (Popsugar Reading Challenge and the Disney Inspired Reading Challenge); however, it is possible that I may be adding in the Summer Reading Challenge from Popsugar. Many of you are wondering if I will complete all of these this year... stranger things have happened. My focus this year isn't to just read to complete a challenge. I am reading things that interest me with a sprinkling of books specifically for that challenge.
Getting my craft on. I have considered myself a crafter for many, many years now; however, I am extremely excited about getting back into scrapbooking and starting a Project Life album as well. The wonderful part is that my fiance will be joining me in the craft room in the future. Currently, I have been working on several stitching projects like felt dolls and hand embroidering handkerchiefs. I want this to be a learning process for me. Here are some of the things I want to learn: my style, the products I like and the brands I prefer, how to except the work I do and love it, and how I can use my craftiness to benefit others around me.
Finding my wedding dress. Many of my friends are giving me a weird look on this one. Trying them on is something that I have dreaded for some time now. I am overly critical and very peculiar about what I want in a dress. I have spent hours and hours looking for my dress only to find one or two unicorns that will never come to light again. The best way I can come up with to stop stressing about the process so much? Just embrace it for all that it is worth. This is one thing I only plan on doing once, so I might as well make the best of it.
Planning future adventures. Some of you are wondering my I am looking forward to planning instead of doing. Even though I am a planner girl, I am not bi on planning things; however, these adventures are the manifestations of books that I am reading to my family. Joining me on these adventures, outside of my family of course, is a host of people ranging from best friends, book partners in crime, all the way to "we couldn't leave them at home." We are bringing the Boxcar Children to life in a whole new way by traveling around for months on end. This will be something that I talk more about in the future as we make more plans. (Let me know down below if you would like to see a dedicated series or blog related to those adventures.)
Upcoming changes. There are many changes in my future, some that I have been talking about for over a year now. I have been incredibly blessed with upcoming opportunities to relocate, work a dream job, and do so many things I have always wanted to do. Throughout this journey, God has really taught me something in the way of patience. I may not understand his insight and understanding of the situation; however, I know that my life is changing in some major ways.
I usually don't share future plans or future excitement for fear that they will change. Is this something that you would like to see in the future? I would love to hear about the things that you are looking forward to in the future. Do you have any amazing summer plans? Hope you are all doing wonderful!

Adventure Is Out There - 30 before 30
Saturday, May 14, 2016
When I was in my late teens and earlier twenties, I didn't see the point or adventure in a bucket list. Lists have taken over my life. I do a monthly listers challenge called Listersgottalist, I make lists in my planer, and I try to make a list of things I need to get done or the steps to take in order to complete a project. Let's not even approach my to-read list, the lists of book challenges, or the list of books I want. So I was inspired to be a 30 before 30 list. I am turning 27 in just a few months. I realize the chances of me completing this list is very marginal; however, I plan to push my boundaries, find new adventures, and try some of these things (most of which scare me).

From Heavy Hearted to a Trip in Space - April Reading Wrap Up
Monday, May 2, 2016
It is that time again!! Another Monthly Reading Wrap Up! If you have been with me for a while, you know that I gave up reading for Lent. April was my first full month back to reading. I have loved being back in my world again. This month was full of heavy and lighthearted reads. I did include the only book that I finished before the beginning of April; however, I didn't review it do to adult content. I do have it linked down below. Now on to the books that I read for this month.
