1. How long have you been a Christian and how did you become a Christian?
- For the better part of my life I remember being a Christian, believing in God; however, I made the conscious decision around 13 or 14 in the first church I ever felt like was home to me.
2. What's your favorite Bible verse and why?
-Jeremiah 29:11 is a statement verse for many Christians; however, I don't stop there. I take it to verse thirteen and my perspective shifts in a way it never has before. For many years I viewed the verse as God's promise for the plans in my life and for them to prosper; however, as I keep reading past verse eleven I am hit with the rock of his steady heart for my worries and cares. This is the verse that solidified my choice to use Seek as my word for this year.
3. What is your favorite Christian book?
- I have several for this one, one of which I am still in the progress of reading.

-- Uninvited: Living Loved When You Feel Less Than, Left Out, and Lonely by Lysa Terkeurst
--The Five Love Languages: The Secret to Love that Lasts by Gary Chapman
(Side note: one that I think will be added to this list as soon as I read it is Remember God by Annie F. Downs. What can I say, she is magnificent!)
4. What is your favorite Christian song?
- This is very difficult for me. I have a whole playlist of worship music that I will link; however, I'll Praise You in the Storm by Casting Crowns is what comes to mind for me. I have sung this song through so many difficult times and it has been my reminder to praise God in the midst of all my mess. A more recent favorite is Lauren Daigle. I really connect with her lyrics and I find myself singing them often.

5. What is your favorite thing about Church?
- I could go on and on about my church. Let's start with the basics, my pastor is amazing and relevant. I adore that he speaks into the heart of ministry with a biblical focus on finding our purpose so that we can help others. I love the fellowship and the community of gathering with others who are just as fired up about God as I am. The church I attend now is such an open and inviting church that preaches in a way that leaves you thirsty for more.
6. Your favorite place to pray?

6. Your favorite place to pray?
- Out loud, at night as a family, especially when my littles want to step in and say the prayer at night. On my own, just wherever I am when I need to reach out. In ways, I feel like I have a constant dialogue with God. Prayer is something that I am working hard to improve as an intercessor. That's why I added a prayer journal this year to help me keep track of all the things I want to pray for, not only for myself but for others as well.
I hope you all enjoyed this little tag! Sharing my faith is something I want to do more and more of. I would love for you to sound off in the comments about more Christian topics you would like for me to talk about here. As always, here is the link to the collaborative post from The Girl From Alabama. What is your favorite Christan song or book at the moment?
