Christmas In July: From My Kitchen To Yours

Favorite Recipe: Mounds Balls

What You Will Need:
  • One Bag of Coconut
  • One Can of Eagle Brand Milk
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Chocolate Bark (Milk Chocolate or Dark Chocolate)
  • Powdered Sugar

Slowly mix the coconut, a dash of vanilla extract, and Eagle Brand milk until the mixture thickens enough to form balls. Add powdered sugar if needed for more thickness. Form small to medium shaped balls using your hands to smooth them out. Freeze on a cookie sheet in a single layer.

Helpful Hint: Keeping your hands covered in powdered sugar helps keep them from sticking to your palms.

Once they have all hardened, Melt the chocolate bark in a double boiler. Once all melted and smooth, dip frozen coconut balls into the chocolate one at a time using a toothpick to create an even coating. Place on wax paper lined cookie sheet in a single layer. Cool to harden chocolate. Enjoy!
